Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, during her last year, she made her first appearance as director (and the lighting design) with SSC's King Lear.
